Velayati added, “The independence of Iran’s position is one of the components of our strength in the nuclear talks. On the other hand, we have many options that increase our superiority over other parties in the negotiations. The US sanctions have lost their effect, our exports have increased, and our trade relations with some countries have doubled, especially The countries of the region and the axis of resistance, and we are witnessing the release of some of our financial resources.” .
“Our relationship with Russia is based on mutual respect, recognition of the rights of the other side on an equal basis, and non-interference in the affairs of the other, and NATO is a common enemy for Iran, Russia and China,” Khamenei’s advisor added.
Ali Akbar Velayati continued: “We have benefited from relations with Russia, especially in the field of technologies, as the West did not give us one in a thousand of what we got from Russia, and our relationship today with Russia and China is an equal relationship based on mutual respect, which helps Iran to thwart sanctions.” .
And he added, “We look sensitively at the developments of the Caucasus, and do not allow the international borders in the region to change.”
