Kidney across the arch and cinema in the back seats. BMW unveils the new 7 Series

BMW started with trailers for the 7 Series. The limousine will arrive with internal combustion engines and hybrid engines, but also as a clean electric car called the i7.

“The electric-only BMW i7 is the most powerful BMW 7 Series. It combines a truly exceptional driving experience and perfect connectivity to the digital world. There is speculation that the i7 will have the same electric motor as the BMW iX M60. The power will be taken care of by two electric motors with a maximum power of 610 hp and a torque of 1100 Nm.

In the first trailers, you can see the arch with a lit arch, which still respects the shape of the so-called kidney. Details are also focused on the very narrow headlights.

Inside, the trailer is also focused on details yet. In addition to the curved screen, according to the automaker, the interactive bar on the dashboard and in the door should also provide a new user experience. It’s an illuminated control with built-in buttons, and its operation is said to captivate a “tactile experience”.

A tilting widescreen 8K screen hangs from the glass ceiling, which “turns the rear seats into an exclusive private cinema where passengers can choose their personal entertainment program from a variety of live streaming services.”
