The Ramadan 2022 drama season, which is scheduled to start about a month later, will witness the return of the two TV drama stars, Laila Elwi and Elham Shaheen, after years of absence from Ramadan drama, before they decided to be present and compete with new works this year.
The irony is that the last appearance of Laila Elwi and Elham Shaheen was in the Ramadan 2016 drama, as Laila presented the series She and Da Vinci, with the participation of Khaled El-Sawy and Mai Selim, while Elham Shaheen presented in the same year the series “Layali El Helmia 6”, many stars.
And the duo decided to return at the same time in Ramadan 2022, as Laila Elwi imagined a new series entitled “A second world”, filming began the week before last, and it was written by Amin Gamal and directed by Ahmed Abdel Aal, and co-starring Magdy Kamel, Mai Selim, Abeer Sabry, And Firas Saeed.
As for Ilham Shaheen, she is currently filming the series “Baloo’ Al-Rouh”, consisting of 15 episodes, which is scheduled to be shown on MBC Egypt in Ramadan, and co-starring Menna Shalaby, Ilham Shaheen, Ahmed Al-Saadani, Mohamed Hatem, Adel Karam, written by Mohamed Hisham Obeya and directed by Kamla. Abu Zekry.
It is noteworthy that Laila Elwi and Elham Shaheen have a strong friendship away from work, and are keen to be together in artistic events and exchange visits between them on various occasions.
Lily and Elham met before in more than one artwork, including the films Brother of Girls, The Butterfly, The Three Troubleshooters, The Round Stone, but the most prominent collaboration was in the movie Ya Donia Ya Grammy, which was co-starred with their third close friend Hala Sedky.
