Louvre Abu Dhabi has announced its collaboration with celebrity DJ David Guetta on a massive production that calls for unity, inspires and brings hope around the world. After the impressive success of the third edition of the show he presented under the title “United at Home” at the Louvre Museum in Paris on New Year’s Eve last year, this year the international artist will present a virtual concert at the museum that will be broadcast on New Year’s Eve. Audiences around the world will be able to watch the concert online at midnight, UAE time.
The ceremony will take place on a floating stage surrounded by the waters surrounding the Louvre Abu Dhabi, which was built especially for this occasion by a group of craftsmen, diggers and divers. Geeta performs his music in front of the museum’s famous dome in a ceremony that includes music and light shows, including a display of works from the Louvre Abu Dhabi Art Collection, in celebration of the museum’s vision of art and culture as a source of joy and understanding.
Commenting on this exceptional collaboration, Manuel Rabaté, Director of Louvre Abu Dhabi, said: “We are excited to see the fruit of our collaboration with David Guetta. »
Guetta said: “The Louvre Museum is one of the most prominent landmarks in the world, and I am very happy to host a party there on New Year’s Eve, and I am honored to be invited to present music at the museum.”
The ceremony includes a light show that includes more than 500 lights around the stage, in addition to the shooting of a flame 20 meters high in the sky in conjunction with musical tunes.
