The MacBook Air with iMac-like rainbow color options is said to be missing at Apple’s packed WWDC event.
Company issued Camel A surprisingly colorful lineup of the 24-inch iMac comes in 2021, and its fans are now looking forward to the same treatment for other Mac offerings like the MacBook Air.
To be presented Giant technology company The Cupertino-based company will launch the upcoming MacBook Air 2022 during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), according to news from Apple Insider.
As such, enthusiastic fans are curious about what Apple has to offer this time around. Will there be more color options? Is it the debut of the all-new M2 slide?
The much-reported idea of the new MacBook Air coming in a range of “several colors” is probably exaggerated. Right now it comes in space gray, silver and gold. I wouldn’t expect more than those colors (though the new gold will be more champagne like) plus my favorite iMac color. pic.twitter.com/vYl56FOikg

MacBook Air in iMac-like colors
Some reports claim that the all-new 2022 MacBook Air offers new color options like what Apple did with the iMac.
Currently, the latest MacBook Air comes in colors Camel Standard, Classic Silver, as well as options such as Dark Gray and Deluxe Gold. These skins have been options for Apple devices, including iPhones and iPads, for some time now.
On the other hand, the latest iMac comes with a range of vibrant colors, such as blue, purple, orange, yellow, green, pink, and of course silver. Unlike the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, it leaves options like gold and space gray.
company boasted Camel Strongly choosing rainbow colors for the 24-inch iMac in its ads and during its April 20, 2021 debut.
Reports these days claim that the MacBook Air gets these vibrant options, too.
MacBook Air 2022: New color options
However, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gorman himself believes that Apple is sticking with its existing color options, as well as one new option, on the new MacBook Air.
Gorman further suggests that reports claiming that Apple is offering new rainbow color options for its MacBook Air “may be exaggerated.”
According to a recent report by MacRumors Gorman believes the new MacBook will come with the hues we’ve seen previously, such as gold, space gray, and silver.
But he says the MacBook Air will debut this year in the iMac’s favorite color, blue.
Therefore, it appears that Apple is sticking largely to the typical color of its MacBook Air rather than adding vibrant options. But the tech giant is said to be introducing a new blue color option.
