Man sues New England Patriots Hall of Fame over $1 million US flag… Here’s why

A man named Daniel Vitale is suing the New England Patriots Hall of Fame, and says in the lawsuit that in early 2020, he obtained an American flag signed by famous footballer Tom Brady, which cost him more than a million dollars, and Vitale added that the flag was very rare.

Transferred at Foxboro Stadium during a Patriots vs. Dolphins in 2001, and Vitale said he thought this was the only American flag predicted by Tom.
Vital says in the lawsuit that in 2021, about a year after he got the piece, he called the Professional Football Hall of Fame to see if they wanted it, and claims they agreed to it, and officials there promised him it would be “finished at the highest level.” , Vitale says he handed them the flag under this premise, and was displayed almost immediately under Brady’s Super Bowl XLIX shirt that was stolen and later recovered.
However, months later Vitaly said he was considering asking for it back, and said that due to Brady’s possible retirement and the subsequent high value of Brady’s memorabilia, he was considering putting it up for auction, only to discover that his signature had vanished due to what he claims was the way it was offered to the Hall of Fame New England Patriots for the piece incorrectly.
In the lawsuit, Vitale said: “Neither the lighting in the facility nor the glass used in the case displaying the flag were designed to protect the signed sports memorabilia.”
“There was a huge gap in the glass right in front of the flag through which unfiltered light and heat could pass,” he added.
