Microsoft has begun testing Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) integration with Xbox consoles. Some Xbox Insiders on Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha will be able to access xCloud integration today, a feature that lets you click and play an Xbox Game Pass game right away.
The new xCloud integration will allow Xbox owners to try out games before they’re fully downloaded and possibly offer a trial or trial before purchasing in the future. More than 100 titles will be available for Xbox Game Pass as part of the initial xCloud integration, and Xbox players can jump into multiplayer games once members send in an invite.
Games that match your xCloud combination will appear with a cloud icon next to it, indicating that you can stream them right away. Microsoft will support 1080p and 60fps game streams through this integration, just like standard Xbox Cloud gaming web streams. This feature does not exist as streaming to 4K TVs and another try before downloading the bonus.
Microsoft began testing today with the “Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha Insiders Random Subgroup,” and the company will expand to include two more testers over time. Microsoft has promised xCloud integration will appear on all Xbox consoles by the end of the year, which means Xbox One will eventually be able to stream Xbox Series S/X exclusives like Microsoft Flight Simulator And average.
