Microsoft revealed, through a virtual conference, yesterday, the most important features of the new generation of the operating system “Windows 11”, Windows 11, which is expected to be launched in October of this year, as a free update for devices running on the “Windows 10” system.
The system includes a number of new features, including a Windows application for video chats and text chats, and automatic color updates via Auto HDR technology that works with artificial intelligence while using various video games.
Microsoft Product Officer Panos Banai said that the new system is characterized by a simplified interface compared to its predecessor, a new “Windows” store for applications and programs, performance improvements and the ability to perform several tasks simultaneously, in addition to supporting Android applications for the first time.
“Banai” added that Windows 11 will “impress” fans of video games, by providing the best video game experience across desktop computers.
The new system has a new Start menu and an updated Start button, both positioned on the taskbar. While the user interface is very similar to that of Windows 10X, a project originally planned for dual-screen devices that Microsoft eventually canceled.
Microsoft will also integrate Microsoft Teams directly into the new system for both consumers and business users, which allows Windows 11 users to connect with friends, family or co-workers.
