The American company “Microsoft” announced shocking news for a large number of owners of its operating system “Windows 7” and “Windows 8”, to stop a number of services by March 2022.
The specialized technical website Engadget stated that Microsoft’s OneDrive cloud storage services will stop synchronizing on Windows 7 and 8 by next March.
Microsoft will stop providing any updates to those old Windows operating systems starting next January as well.
The American company indicated that users of “Windows 7 and 8” can use the web to transfer files manually.
Microsoft attributed its decision to “focusing resources” on the latest “Windows” systems, and providing more advanced technologies in the “Windows 10” and “Windows 11” operating systems.
