Mrs. Miriam removes limescale in a special way. Gone within a few minutes, friends shaking their heads

Scale in and out of the bathroom is a common problem in the home. Thanks to hard water, it appears practically everywhere, in the shower, bathtub and kettle. Fortunately, this situation has a solution, and you can get rid of limescale once and for all.

Where does he like to live?

The disadvantage of limescale is that it settles almost anywhere. It is not easy to get rid of it everywhere. It can be found in washing machines, dishwashers, toilets, bathtubs, sinks, and appliances that come into contact with water. When hard water is a major and frequent problem, water softeners should be tried.

Vinegar prevention

Attack the scale before it grows above your head. Use a universal natural detergent – vinegar. Make your own mixture: Prepare two cups of water, ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide, and ½ cup of hand sanitizer. Add 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid to this mixture. Pour everything into the sprayer and shake it. In the shower, this mixture should be used regularly, and always after a shower. Thanks to this, limescale will not accumulate here at all.

How to get rid of the old scale

If the limescale has already settled, you need to get rid of it. Home remedies such as citric acid or vinegar should be sufficient for the bathtub and sink. Just put them on the limescale, leave it for a few minutes, then wipe it off with a sponge at the end. You can also repeat the procedure, if the limescale is old, then there is no need to remove it immediately. Finally, wash the area with water and wipe it dry.

Watch out for iron blockage

Calcium can also build up on iron. Unfortunately, your clothing can also be damaged, so it is necessary to remove it. Again, you can use vinegar to help, but be careful. It should not get inside the iron. You can prevent limescale build-up in your iron by using only distilled water for ironing. Then there is no risk of scale buildup.
