NEOM, Saudi Arabia: NEOM announced the organization of the Beach Games 2022, from October 19 to December 9, 2022, in a prominent global sporting event in which more than 25 countries participate, and that brings together leading sports activities and a group of professional athletes to compete in five sports It includes windsurfing, 3×3 basketball, beach soccer, mountain biking, and a triathlon which is a marathon-like race of speed in swimming, cycling and running.

On this occasion, the CEO of NEOM, Engineer Nazmi Al-Nasr, said: “NEOM’s organization of this unique global sporting event in the region comes in line with the vision of 2030 in hosting global sporting events, and achieves NEOM’s goals to be a regional and global center for sports activities and a destination for athletes from around the world.” Al-Nasr added: “We are pleased to organize the NEOM Beach Games 2022, which will bring together senior Saudi and international athletes in a unique and unique location in the Kingdom and the world, where geographical diversity, the beauty of nature and the mild climate will contribute to providing an ideal environment for the success and distinction of the event.”

The NEOM Beach Games 2022 will kick off with the Windsurfing World Cup, which will last for the first five days from October 19 to 23, followed by Olympic triathlon competitions on October 29. In November, the tournament will witness an international 3×3 basketball tournament, followed by a beach soccer tournament in which 12 teams from around the world will compete over 5 days. The tournament will conclude on December 9 with a desert mountain bike race that will run from December 6 to 9 and will host 220 male and female competitors from all over the world in a three-stage event, each stage ranging in length from 80 to 120 kilometers.
