The latest leaks confirmed Xiaomi’s plans to launch three versions of the Mi Pad 5 series of devices, with the devices including Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 860 processor chips.
The upcoming Mi Pad 5 series from Xiaomi includes both the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro as expected, as these versions come with the Snapdragon 870 processor chip.
Also, both versions are scheduled to support fast charging technology with a capacity of 67W, and the two devices also come with a battery capacity of 8750 mAh.
The Mi Pad 5 Pro also supports connection to 5G networks, and it features a main sensor in the 48-megapixel rear camera, and the main version is scheduled to support connection to Wi-Fi networks only and includes a sensor for the 12-megapixel rear camera.
The three versions also feature a 10.9-inch IPS LCD screen, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 240 Hz touch speed. The devices also feature a display resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels. The screen is also scheduled to support a stylus pen, with 4096 levels of click.
Mi Pad 5 devices also support the keyboard case, which comes with a location dedicated to installing the stylus pen, and the design of the keyboard case was revealed in recently published video leaks.
It is expected that the third version will be titled Mi Pad 5 Lite, which comes with a Snapdragon 860 processor chip, supports connection to Wi-Fi networks, and also comes with 33W fast charging technology.
The three versions are also scheduled to launch with the MIUI 12.5 interface, and expectations indicate that Xiaomi will announce new versions at an event to be held next August.
