Officially.. Benzema is out of Real Madrid’s squad against Elche

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti announced a list of 23 players for his team to face its host Elche on Saturday, in the 12th round of the Spanish Football League.

Real Madrid’s squad was emptied of the duo, French striker Karim Benzema, because of the bruise he sustained in his foot, which prevented him from participating in the team’s group training, and Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde, who was injured in the “El Clasico” match against Barcelona (2-1) on Sunday.
