Al-Sharjah Club of the United Arab Emirates announced its official contract with Congolese striker Ben Malango for the next 3 seasons, coming from Moroccan Raja.

The Sharjah Club published a video on its official page on Twitter, in which it announced its contract with the player, in which he said: “We welcome the 27-year-old Congolese international, Ben Malango, to the Kings Castle, coming from the Moroccan Raja Sports Club, with a contract that extends for 3 seasons.”

Yesterday, Monday, Ben Malango arrived in the Emirates to undergo a medical examination to join the ranks of Sharjah.

Ben Malango starred with Raja in the 2020-2021 season, scoring 24 goals and making 4 during 41 matches he played in various competitions.

Sharjah did not reveal the financial value of the deal, but Moroccan press reports indicated that the Emirati club obtained the player’s services for 3.5 million euros, which he paid to the Raja club.

Ben Malango’s contract with Raja expires after only one year, and he had no desire to renew.

It is noteworthy that Sharjah outperformed Zamalek and kidnapped the Ben Malango deal, as the French coach, Patrice Carteron, put the Congolese striker at the top of the deals to be signed during the upcoming summer transfers.

Sharjah contracted with Brazilian Bernard Duarte, last week, and also with Brazilian winger Caio Lucas for three seasons from Benfica, after he spent last season with the team on loan.

Sharjah finished last season in fourth place in the league, nine points behind the champion Al Jazira.
