Our team will play its second match, in the first round, against Iraq tomorrow, to face Palestine at the end of the first round next Friday evening, and the first places in each group will qualify, in addition to the best second to the semi-finals of the tournament scheduled to be held on October 10.
Participation in the second edition of the West Asian U-23 Championship is an important station in the “Olympic White” program, before launching its qualifying campaign for the AFC U-23 Cup finals scheduled in Uzbekistan in 2022.
From October 23 to 31, the UAE will host Group E matches in the qualifiers, which bring together the teams of the Emirates, Oman, India and Kyrgyzstan, as part of the competition for the 15 qualifying seats for the finals, and join Uzbekistan, host of the fifth edition of the tournament, which will be held for the first time in Central Asia region.
