Via Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Jumaa, Minister of AwqafHe expressed his happiness and pride in the state that Egypt’s mosques have reached now, in terms of intensifying advocacy efforts and religious supplications, in addition to holding all the rituals of the month of Ramadan 2023 in mosques, such as tahajjud, i’tikaf, taraweeh, and so on.
Minister wrote Endowments Through his official account on the Twitter micro-blogging site: Ammar, O mosques of Egypt..and Ramadan with all its rituals of Tarawih, Tahajjud and I’tikaf, as well as the intensification of science lessons, Quranic reciters, religious supplications and Iftar tables.
The religious sector of endowments: an early and unprecedented plan to prepare for the holy month
Earlier today, Sheikh Sayyid Abdul Majeed, Head of the Central Administration for Mosques and Holy Quran Affairs, stated that the religious sector of the Ministry of Endowments discussed the ministry’s plan to prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan 1444 AH today, Saturday 12/24/2022 AD, within the framework of the Ministry of Endowments’ preparations for the month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Awqaf today, Sheikh Syed Abdul Majeed confirmed that there is an unprecedented plan to prepare for the holy month, by intensifying scientific lessons, various reciters of the Holy Qur’an, and religious supplications for the great supplicants.
Abdul Majeed explained during the statement that the regional directorates were assigned to prepare their Ramadan plan early, noting that this plan will generally include holding i’tikaaf, Tarawih prayers, and Tahajjud prayers in major mosques.
