Pomegranate reveals Belmadi’s relationship with the Algerian under-17 team

Pomegranate described facing Senegal in the next round as important, stressing that the opponent came to Algeria in order to play the first rounds.

He added, “It is true that the confrontation is not of the value of the first meeting against Somalia, but it will have special advantages and is therefore difficult for the two teams.”

In another context, the same spokesman acknowledged that all teams are candidates for advanced roles, as he said in this regard: “In the first matches, we saw a great level, such as the meeting between Zambia, Nigeria and Morocco against South Africa, as well as Senegal against the Congo, and there is no longer a weak team or another. A candidate, on the contrary, all teams have almost the same chances.”

For his part, Senegal coach Salio Dia praised the Algerian national team, saying: “It will be an open match in both directions. We play in a somewhat offensive manner, and the same is true for Algeria.”

And he added, “Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to prepare for this confrontation. We only went through one training session, and for this we will rely more on recovery than work on the tactical side, and we will not exhaust our young players.”
