The British royal family’s account on Instagram published a picture in which Queen Elizabeth II appeared with a new hairstyle that sparked comments from followers.
In the photo posted on the royal family’s official Instagram page, the Queen appeared with a short hairdo as she greeted Margaret Beasley, Governor of New South Wales, at Windsor Castle, England.
Followers were curious about the change in the queen’s hairstyle, which she has maintained for many years, with one social media user writing: “The Queen looks great! Her new summer hairdo looks perfect,” and another expressed his admiration for the new hairstyle, saying, “I love the hairstyle.” Your new hair, Your Majesty.”
The Queen debuted her new hairdo with the Archbishop of Canterbury earlier in the week, although the change was most evident in a photo of her meeting with Paisley.
On both occasions, she wore floral summer dresses.
People have always enjoyed deciphering the Queen’s portraits, from her choice of brooch, to her color palette.
“Our role as designers is to make sure Her Majesty is dressed appropriately for every event,” royal fashion adviser Angela Kelly wrote in her 2019 royal-approved memoir, “The Other Side of the Coin.”
On Sunday, June 5, Britain concluded its celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne of the country with a huge show in the streets of London.
The show ended in front of the royal palace with the national anthem of the United Kingdom, “God bless the Queen,” according to the agency, “Agence France Presse.”
Many participants in the four-day platinum jubilee celebrations know that the occasion may be one of the last times they see the Queen quietly preparing to succeed her while her son Prince Charles, 73, represents her on most occasions.
