Real Madrid beat Granada 4-1 on Sunday, after two assists from Toni Kroos, to top the La Liga table.
Real Madrid’s goals came by Marco Asensio, Nacho Fernandez, Vinicius Junior and Ferland Mendy, bringing his tally to 30 points from 13 games, one point behind second-placed Real Sociedad, who tied with ten players without goals with Valencia, but played 14 games.
Seville comes third with 28 points from 13 games, while Granada, who won only two games this season, is 17th.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti’s team started the match strongly, and advanced 2-0 after 25 minutes, with goals from Asensio and Nacho from two passes from Kroos.
But minutes later Luis Suarez pulled one back for Granada, after a deflected shot at Nacho tricked the visitors’ goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who jumped on the left side while the ball went the other way.
Granada scored a equalizer, when Vinicius scored shortly after the break after a team effort with the participation of Karim Benzema and Casemiro.
After Granada’s Moncho was sent off for a violent foul against Vinicius, Mendy concluded the visiting team’s goals.
This is the third consecutive win for Real Madrid in the league, and is preparing to play away from home against Sherif Tiraspol of Moldova in the Champions League, on Wednesday.
