The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, through the Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies, announced the opening of registration for the specialized diploma, master’s and doctorate program in Hellenistic Studies from Alexandria University, for university graduates, from August 1 to August 15, 2022.

For the first time, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina opens registration for a Ph.D. in Hellenistic Studies for holders of a master’s degree in Hellenistic Studies or in a specialization branch from a university recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.
It is worth mentioning that the specialized diploma, master’s and doctoral program in Hellenistic Studies is the product of cooperation between the Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies, the Greek Vardinoyannis Foundation, and Alexandria University. Teaching is in English.
The Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies, in cooperation with the Vardinoyannis Foundation, provides a grant of 75% of the tuition fee for applicants (terms and conditions apply).
In order to register for a master’s degree, the student must have a Bachelor’s degree in Archeology and Greek and Roman Studies or its equivalent from a university recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities with a good grade.
As for students who hold a BA or BA in other disciplines, they can obtain a specialized diploma in Hellenistic Studies before registering for a master’s degree.
“Space Architecture” lecture at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina
In another context, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina will organize a lecture entitled “Space Architecture” on Wednesday, 10 August 2022 at exactly three o’clock in the evening in the delegates’ hall at the BA Conference Center.
The lecture will be given by Dr. Samer Al-Siyari, Assistant Professor of Architecture at Beirut Arab University and one of the pioneers of space engineering in the Middle East.
The lecture sheds light on the concept of space architecture and the current and future perspective of space engineering and also discusses the mission statement of space engineering on the theories of the practice of design and construction of inhabited environments in outer space, which includes the architectural design of habitats in space as well as areas of work in space, according to the World Space Conference held in Houston in 2002 It was organized by members of the Aerospace Engineering Technical Subcommittee of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
