Since that time, this flag has continued as a symbol of pride in the Saudi identity and its principles, because of the great connotations it contains that indicate prosperity and development. and giving. And Professor Al-Hussein said, “The flag of my country reminds us of the 27th of Dhul-Hijjah 1355 AH corresponding to the 11th of March 1937 AD.” The day when the founding King Abdul-Aziz – may God rest his soul in peace – endorsed the flag in the form that we see today fluttering with its great connotations that refer to monotheism, justice, strength, development and prosperity.

At the conclusion of her speech, Dr. Al Khashil emphasized the uniqueness of the Saudi flag with its components that shaped our principles and our history, and added that allocating a day to celebrate the flag is a day in which we remember the principles and values ​​on which our country was based, and we recall the sacrifices and efforts that were made to raise the national flag to keep it flying high.
