The Saudi Space Authority launches the training program “Introduction to Space Applications”
Today, the Saudi Space Authority launched the “Introduction to Space Applications” training program, in cooperation with Airbus Defense and Space Company.
The program aims to provide the people of the country with the necessary skills and knowledge; To achieve space leadership, and to support the qualification and development of national cadres specialized in the fields of space and its technologies.
The authority explained that the training program “Introduction to Space Applications” is for graduate students and workers in the aviation and space sector, and focuses on space systems, space missions and applications, the space sector system, meteorological systems, launch and operation, and an introduction to space applications.
The authority had earlier launched the Space 101 program, which aims to raise the level of education and practical know-how in the space sector, for those interested and wishing to learn space sciences, as well as high school and undergraduate students.
