In the latest field developments, the Kyiv governor announced that the Russian forces are getting closer to the Ukrainian capital, while the correspondent of Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath reported that the Russian forces are besieging Kyiv from all sides.

Our correspondent confirmed that the Ukrainian army set up barriers inside the capital, Kyiv, while the Russian forces pushed more military reinforcements to Kharkiv.

Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian army announced that Russian airborne forces carried out a landing in Kharkiv, and an eyewitness confirmed that the landing took place near a military base and a hospital, while the Russian Defense Ministry reported that its forces fully control the regional center of the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine, while the mayor demanded Kherson by opening a safe corridor to evacuate the wounded and bring in medical supplies.
