A small opening ceremony was held for the launch of the tenth edition of the championship Arab Cup Which will be hosted by Qatar from today until the 18th of next December, on the stadiums of the World Cup, which will be held next year.

The opening ceremony of the Arab Cup came in the presence of the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad, and Gianni Infantino, President of the International Football Association (FIFA).

The opening ceremony of the Arab Cup witnessed the presence of Arab historical and artistic personalities, as the late Egyptian star Saeed Saleh Saeed Saleh appeared using helogram technology, in addition to Fayrouz.

The opening ceremony also witnessed the presentation of a group of songs representing each Arab country participating in the Arab Cup.

The tenth edition of the Arab Cup began with Tunisia’s 5-1 victory over Mauritania, and Iraq’s 1-1 draw with Oman.

The Arab Cup returned after a nine-year hiatus, but in a new form under the auspices of the International Football Association Board, and the tournament will be played on the 2022 World Cup stadiums.
