Samsung, which is currently a leader in the foldable phone segment, has had massive sales of first-generation devices from the Galaxy Z series through to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. However, these devices are not yet improved. and refine it to reach its full potential.
Focusing on that, the company is said to be adding a new feature to the screen of its upcoming foldable device that will make multitasking very convenient.
New function on Galaxy Z Fold 4 screen
According to Ice Universe’s tweet, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will get a “split screen” option. This feature is likely to work similarly to foldable devices from OPPO, Vivo, and Honor, where the user will need to swipe down the middle of the device to activate the split-screen mode.
According to previous leaks, it will have a 7.6-inch AMOLED (QXGA+) screen, while the 6.2-inch AMOLED external display will have an HD+ resolution. Both external and internal monitors will have a refresh rate of 120Hz.
It will come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with 12/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage.
It will have a 4400 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. As for the cameras, the device will have a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel camera (supports zoom up to 3 times). The inner screen will have a 16-megapixel under-display camera and the outer screen will have a hole for a 10-megapixel selfie camera.
As for the specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 4, it will come with a 6.7-inch FHD + sAMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 2.1-inch external screen.
The phone will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. As for the cameras, the smartphone will offer a 12-megapixel camera and a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, while the internal camera will have a 10-megapixel resolution.
It will have a 3700mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging and 10W wireless charging. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are said to debut on August 10.
