The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque confirmed that it had prepared the roof of the Grand Mosque for worshipers and visitors to the Grand Mosque with all services, after directing the General President of the Two Holy Mosques, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, to open it for worshipers and pilgrims.
The Presidency said in a statement that all services provided to visitors to the Grand Mosque on the rooftop are in full readiness, as the balconies overlooking the road will be allocated to pilgrims, while behind the balconies are for worshipers, in addition to allocating 330 human cadres working to organize and manage the crowds according to the plan of the month of Ramadan. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The presidency clarified that the operational status of all escalators and elevators, and the sound system is ready in all its parts, and is supervised by a specialized team to ensure implementation in accordance with followed technical principles, and that they are free of any defects using the latest technologies, due to the care given by the Kingdom’s government to the Two Holy Mosques and their destinations.
And it reported the provision of Quran wheels and providing them with copies of the Quran, adding scientific lessons circles and memorizing the Noble Qur’an.
It is noteworthy that the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has allocated 48 gates since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan for worshipers to enter, including 17 gates in the third Saudi expansion, 23 gates in King Fahd’s expansion, 7 gates in the Mas’a area, and the Ajyad bridge gate.
