French coach Herve Renard announced the Saudi national team line-up for the matches of Vietnam and Oman in the final round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Saudi national team managed to reach the third round of the final thanks to its top spot in the second round with 20 points from 6 victories, two draws and no loss.
The Saudi national team will face its Vietnamese counterpart in the first round of Group B competitions on the second of September, before meeting its Omani counterpart on the seventh.
The group includes Japan, Australia and China as well, provided that the top two places in each of the two groups qualify directly for the finals, while the third placed will play a playoff in which the winner qualifies for a continental playoff.
Renard summoned 25 players: Muhammad Al Owais, Zaid Al Bawardi, Fawaz Al Qarni, Muhammad Al Yami, Abdullah Mado, Abdul Ilah Al Omari, Ali Al Bulayhi, Saud Abdul Hamid, Muhammad Khabrani, Muhammad Al Buraik, Sultan Al Ghannam, Yasser Al Shahrani, Abdullah Atif, Ali Al Hassan and Abdul Ilah Al Maliki.
