The American space agency “NASA” has detected a frightening sound that was captured from a black hole in the center of the Perseus cluster of galaxies.

And NASA published the audio recording, which was taken in Perseus, which is 250 million light years from Earth, describing it as similar to the tunes of the international musician Hans Zimmer, according to the “Middle East” website, quoting the British Sky News network.

These sound waves from the black hole were detected in data recorded by the agency’s Chandra X-ray Space Telescope.

“There is a common misconception that there is no sound in space, based on the fact that since most of space is a vacuum, there is no medium through which sound waves propagate,” NASA said.

She added: “Clusters of galaxies (Perseus) contain abundant amounts of gas that encase hundreds or even thousands of them, and this gas provides a medium for the transmission of sound waves.”

She explained that the captured sound waves were processed to match the human hearing range by raising the volume to 57 and 58 octaves above the true pitch.

It is reported that Hans Zimmer, who likened the frightening sound to his tunes, is a world-class musician who composed the soundtracks for the songs of a large number of science fiction films..
