The United Nations Economic and Social Council has announced that it will elect Dr. Sheriff Sharif, Managing Director of the National Institution for Governance and Personality and Sustainable Development, as one of the Council’s 24 Experts in Public Administration for a term of 4 years.
Dr. Hala al-Saeed said that electing Dr. Sharifa Sharif was an achievement and a colossal representation of Egypt in the United Nations bodies, within the framework of employing well-known and experienced staff.
For his part, Dr. Sherifa thanked the Sheriff for this appreciation and pledged to continue to serve the country.
Dr. Sheriff Sheriff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the American University of Cairo and a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Sussex, UK. , Has been the Head of the Department of Public Administration at Future University in Egypt and has been an Assistant Professor at several universities since 2015. He also chaired the Center for Public Administration Research and Consulting in the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences at the University of Cairo.
Sheriff Sheriff has worked in the areas of Public Administration, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainable Development, Social Entrepreneurship, Environmental Management and Personality for over 20 years. Gender equality, women’s empowerment, good governance, administrative reform, sustainable development and environmental management. In 2017, he was appointed a member of the Egyptian National Committee on the African Beer Review Mechanism and the Egyptian National Coordinator of the General Executive Committee of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
