The Taliban have captured the entire Kabul airport, hours after the last US military plane took off from it and foreign forces finally left Afghanistan, early Tuesday morning.
In the photo, some Taliban leaders, led by the movement’s spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, appear on the runway of Kabul Airport.

The movement’s fighters quickly used the military equipment left by the American forces, upon entering the airport.
Taliban fighters were seen checking helicopters and other military equipment, which the US military says were “disabled” prior to the withdrawal.
