TEDxAlQuoz is preparing to launch its first event on Saturday, October 23, 2021, under the theme “Humanity and Interdependence.” It aims to express the current spirit among people through a series of lively dialogues, engaging artistic performances and captivating networking opportunities. The event will take place from 4 to 8 pm at the Warehouse Four in Al Quoz, and tickets will go on sale on the event’s website in the first week of October.
Guests of the event are awaiting a series of panel discussions with distinguished speakers, including: athlete and Guinness World Record holder Darren Berber, award-winning photographer Walid Shah, and survival coach Arnaud Laviollette, the world’s influencer. Sustainable fashion Amanda Rushforth, and psychologist Salha Afridi. Emirati singer Arqam Al Abri will also participate in the concert.
Curator and Curator Rayhan Hussain said: “TEDx Al Quoz aims to re-discover the meaning of connectedness within society and encourage thinking about ways we can all foster creativity.”
The independent event, which officially kicks off on October 23, and is licensed by the TED International Conference Series, is organized by a group of volunteers who aspire to create a forum to inspire and encourage dialogue among the community in Dubai through thought-provoking discussions. It was prepared with the support of Warehouse4, the partner of the venue, and the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture).
