The Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue will be held next month with an international presence

The first edition of the “Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue”, which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, will witness a high-level presence of leaders of countries active in the field of space, with the participation of Isaac Herzog, President of the State of Israel, and Narendra Modi, President Ministers of the Republic of India.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to deliver a remote speech in front of the participants, led by high-ranking government officials representing the ministries of foreign affairs of the participating countries, as well as chiefs of staff, leaders of institutions, military armies, space forces and leaders of the private sector specializing in aerospace, aviation and defense technologies.

The dialogue, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from December 5-6, and organized by the Emirates Space Agency, with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Defense, will host a group of major international companies and institutions, businessmen and representatives of the private sector in the field of space, aviation and technology.

Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, Chairperson of the Emirates Space Agency Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue Committee, stressed that the event aims to develop an integrated system to enhance international cooperation in the space sector and achieve tangible progress in formulating standards and policies regulating the sector.

Al Amiri said: “The Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue seeks to achieve a set of ambitious goals, foremost of which is providing a platform to represent the emerging countries in the sector, highlighting their achievements during the past stage, along with the major countries that started their journey in the space sector a long time ago, and from From this point of view, space agencies from Romania, Rwanda, Norway, the Philippines and Portugal participate in the event.
