On his Twitter account, Nasser Al-Qasabi said: “The establishment of the first professional association for theater and performing arts, whose board of directors is headed by Nasser Al-Qasabi.”

He added: “It is one of the professional associations established under the umbrella of the Ministry of Culture’s strategy for the non-profit sector, which was adopted by His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan.”

He expressed his thanks to the Minister of Culture, Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, saying: “I extend my sincere thanks to His Highness, the Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, for forming the Professional Association for Theater and Performing Arts… For more than thirty years, theatricalists have suffered from enormous challenges and great difficulties, I am honored to work with my colleagues in the new association to overcome difficulties and advance this lofty profession.”

He continued: “The Professional Society for Theater and Performing Arts.. the membership of Dr. Sami Al-Jamaan – Vice President – Dr. Rashid Al-Shamrani, Khaled Al-Baz, Yasser Madkhali, Fahd Al-Hoshani, Roaa Al-Sahhaf, Engineer Yasser Bakr, Sami Al-Zahrani, Fatima Al-Banawi and Samira Al-Khamis.”

And he continued: “The list of its founders included Bandar Abdel Fattah, Ahmed Al-Saman, Haitham bin Habib, Abdullah Al-Hassan, Noah Al-Jamaan, Hashem Hussein, Ibrahim Al-Hajjaj, Wael Al-Harbi, Ilham Ali, Mishaal Al-Rasheed, Abbas Al-Hayek, Abdulaziz Al-Saqabi, Iman Al-Taweel, and Abdullah.” Al-Hammad, Ali Al-Ghwaim, Ahmed Al-Sarawi, and Nayef Al-Baqami.
