The British Embassy in Amman has announced the opening of applications for Chevening Scholarships.
In a press release on Wednesday, the embassy said the Chevening Scholarship is a global scholarship program for postgraduate students funded by the British Foreign and Development Ministry, and the application window will close on November 1. Submit through chevening.org/apply.
She said Chevening offers outstanding emerging leaders from around the world opportunities to study for a year in the UK for a master’s degree of exclusive academic, professional and cultural experiences.
He added that the scholarship is awarded to individuals of all backgrounds who can demonstrate that they have the commitment and skills needed to make a positive difference in their communities and contribute to future relations between the UK and Jordan.
Since the program’s inception in 1983, more than 50,000 professionals have had the opportunity to develop their skills in the UK through the Chevening Mission, and in the academic year 2023 / 2024 there are more than 1,500 scholarships worldwide. The UK’s continued commitment to creating tomorrow’s leaders.
The embassy pointed out that last year, Jordanian scholarships completed master’s programs in various fields, including management, humanitarian studies, politics, entrepreneurship and the environment.
He explained that the Chevening Scholarships are an opportunity to transform the lives of people of great potential as scholars continue to make significant contributions to Jordan’s development. departments, in addition to joining a global network of more than 20,000 alumni. Emerging leaders in Jordan have great potential to advance their careers in various fields and make a positive difference in their communities.
He emphasized that the scholarship is highly competitive and reflects the British government’s continued commitment to supporting Jordan’s future.
