Elaf from London: The British Government’s Regional Media and Communications Center has announced that the 2022 Ramadan campaign will begin tomorrow, Saturday. Charities during the month of Ramadan.
These stories illustrate how Muslims can help build communities of tolerance and resilience, individually, locally and globally, in order to meet the common challenges facing their communities. The campaign will be divided into three sections: Family and Friends, Local Community and Global Community. During this campaign, we will collaborate with some social media influencers and colleagues in the British government to share many stories of tolerance and charity in the Arab and global communities.
The campaign highlights the importance of respecting religious freedom at the local and regional levels, and highlights the UK’s leadership in global efforts to promote and protect freedom of religion or belief (FORB) around the world. .
Hard times
Rosie Dias, a spokeswoman for the British government in the Middle East and North Africa, said: “This Ramadan we are living in difficult times, and many around the world are facing difficulties such as conflict, poverty or discrimination.
Dias added: As individuals we often feel powerless in the face of the suffering we see in the world. But with small efforts we all have the power to bring about positive change in our local communities and the wider global community.
This is the theme of this year’s Ramadan campaign in the UK, entitled ‘Thirty Days of Charity’. Every day we share how Muslims and others contribute to building tolerant and resilient communities and the many ways we can improve. The lives of those around us.
