The Egyptian actress Badriya Tolba doubted that the campaign “Alexandria does not welcome you” related to her compatriot, artist Mohamed Ramadan, is real, and likely to be fabricated in order to publicize the ceremony to be held on October 7 next.
Pages on the social networking site “Facebook” in Alexandria Governorate launched a campaign entitled “Alexandria does not welcome you” to prevent the holding of Mohamed Ramadan’s concert.
Badria Tolba said during her meeting on the “Al-Bakht” program, which is presented by the media, Kholoud Azmy, on the Egyptian “Al-Shams” channel, commenting on the “Alexandria Does Not Welcome You” campaign: “I doubt the matter because the people of Alexandria have good hearts and are very brave, and this is not because of Alexandria. My country”.
She pointed out that “sometimes there are types of propaganda in this way. I make the topic and it remains propaganda, and it is possible that the company responsible for Muhammad Ramadan’s party carried out the campaign, because he came to Alexandria and the people received him a sweet reception.”
Badriya Tolba denied what was circulated about the expulsion of Muhammad Ramadan from a café, saying, “There is no such thing. The people of Alexandria have taken the guest off their minds, and I am still returning from Alexandria, and I saw Muhammad Ramadan Maadi and the people and youth running after him, and the people of Alexandria are far from hostile to any artist, And Muhammad Ramadan all the time in the coast, which is part of Alexandria.”
And about her opinion of Muhammad Ramadan, she said: “I see that he is controversial, and people may not understand him right, and there are people who love him and see that he is oppressed, and his stardom even if he does not deserve it, it is a gift from our Lord.”
