The head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, revealed the date of the presentation of the play “Coco Chanel”, which will be the gateway to the return of the Egyptian artist Sherihan again to the spotlight after an absence of more than 20 years.
Al-Sheikh said on his official page on the social networking site “Twitter”: Yesterday evening, Tuesday, “After waiting for many years, the return of the star Sherihan in the play Kokochanel on July 20.”
Al-Sheikh explained that the play, “produced by Al-Adl Group, will be shown on the Shahidfood platform and the giant MBC Group, sponsored by the Entertainment Authority.”
Sherihan re-published a tweet through her official account on the “Twitter” website, which was published by Al Sheikh, through his account on the same site, which included a short video clip announcing her return to art after her absence for years.
Sherihan commented: “Hard work, I hope it will be admired by the audience of the Shahidfood platform and MBC all over the world, and my beloved audience, A thousand Mubarak.”
Egyptian scriptwriter Medhat Al-Adl revealed, during a televised interview, that “the play will be shown for the first time in Egypt, and then during the entertainment season in Saudi Arabia.”
Sherihan’s last theatrical appearance was in the play “Muhammad Ali Street” in the late eighties of the last century.
