The CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, Dr. Mohamed El-Kosy, received German Ambassador Frank Hartmann at the headquarters of the Egyptian Space Agency, with the aim of discussing ways of cooperation between the two sides in the field of space science and technology.
The visit included tours inside the agency’s laboratories and familiarization with the satellites being developed and the latest technological and human capabilities represented by engineers and the assistant crew, as well as a visit to the assembly, integration and testing building to learn about the agency’s latest space infrastructure.
For his part, Al-Qusi expressed his happiness with the visit, which reflects the close and continuing relations between Egypt and Germany, while Dr. Somaya Mohamed gave a presentation on the agency’s current projects and achievements since its launch, and the German ambassador expressed his great admiration for the space city and the agency’s projects.
Also speaking, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, head of the space keys educational satellite project, talks about possible areas of cooperation in the field of space science and technology, which he hopes to achieve in the near future.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Muhammad Al-Qousi handed over the shield of the space agency to German Ambassador Frank Hartmann, expressing his gratitude on behalf of all the engineers and staff of the agency for the visit, and expressing his desire to repeat it and activate cooperation in the near future.
