The Egyptian Space Agency is preparing to receive representatives of the Austrian Space Forum, next Thursday; To discuss hosting one of the analog scientific missions for space exploration in Egypt, based on the invitation made by the Forum to Egypt through the Egyptian Embassy in Austria and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The agency indicated – in a statement issued today – that this invitation came due to the appropriateness of the environment of the Egyptian and similar lands. To a large extent, the environment of the planet Mars and the environment of the surface of the moon, which will take place in Egypt at the end of next year 2023.

She explained that preparations are underway to host the mission at the headquarters of the Egyptian Space Agency, in coordination with many Egyptian authorities. To discuss this event for the Analog Space Exploration Mission, and the arrangements expected and required to finish this mission in Egypt.

She added that representatives from many ministries, including: foreign affairs, higher education and scientific research, health, youth and sports, tourism and antiquities, and civil aviation, as well as some supporting bodies, will participate in those discussions.

She stated that a workshop will be held on the sidelines of this event at the British University of Hartfordshire on February 27 at eleven in the morning, where experts of the Austrian Space Forum will deliver an awareness lecture to students and university professors to discuss the importance of this event, and how to take advantage of analog tasks in preparing astronauts on space. world level.
