belbalady Alaa Abul-Qasim, the Egyptian national team player in arms, commented on his choice to carry the country’s flag during the opening of the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics will start on July 21 and will run until August 8.

Abul-Qasim said on his personal page on the social networking site “Facebook”: “Today, I was officially chosen to carry the flag of Egypt at the opening of the Olympic Games in Tokyo next 23rd, in my third participation in the Olympic Games, along with the guidance of the taekwondo champion’s angel.”

He continued: “A great honor, great pride and greater responsibility. And he concluded: “Our date is on 7–26 for the start of the individual competitions, and then on 1-8 for the team competitions.”
