The first fruits of the collaboration between famous rally driver Ken Block and Audi arrived very quickly. The contestant decided to continue filming a series of videos called Gymkhana, where he would be racing in a custom-built Audi electric car called the Audi S1 e-tron quattro Hoonitron.
At first glance, the electric car is inspired by the popular private race car Audi Sport Quattro S1, which raced at Pikes Peak. After all, Ken Block is also a hilltop specialist, so he provided that inspiration. The car features greatly extended fenders, a large rear spoiler and a distinctive front spoiler. Everything adapts to the greatest possible pressure.
Audi has not yet published any other information about the novelty, but it is remarkable how quickly the entire project was created. According to information from the automaker, Auto went into a paper prototype in an astounding four weeks. Among other things, Block is already testing the car, and fans can look forward to it soon in the new segment of Gymkhan.

“I know a lot of different cars with internal combustion engines, but there were a lot of new things for me that I had to learn. Start rubber at 150 km/h right from scratch, as soon as you move your right foot, it is something new,” Block said. My work focused on getting used to the car.
