On Friday evening, the activities of the ninth edition of the “Excellence and Quality” festival, sponsored by the Union of Arab Entrepreneurs, was held in a famous hotel in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in the presence of a large number of art and media stars, and community men.

A large number of art stars received awards in honor of their excellence in the field of art, and for presenting purposeful works that convey a strong message that serves the community.

Among the honored are the artist Youssef Al Sharif, Muhammad Sobhi, Sawsan Badr, Sayed Ragab, Edward, Sabreen, Hanan Mutawa, Maestro Nader Abbasi, soprano Amira Selim, Hamada Hilal, Mai Omar, and Mai Selim. shining

The festival also honored a number of prominent women in the field of art and media in the Arab world, coinciding with the Women’s Month that Egypt celebrates. Among the media honorees are Mona Abdel-Ghani, Omani businesswoman Sheikha Thoraya Al-Ghaithi, Kuwaiti media figure and ambassador of love and peace Hanan Al-Mutawa, writer Engy Alaa, and media figure Basma Wahba. The ceremony honored a number of prominent figures in the field of sports, including Captain Ahmed Hassan, Dean of Football, Hazem Imam, Al-Ahly star Walid Suleiman and swimmer Ghufran Tariq.

In his speech at the ceremony, the festival’s president, Mersal Ibrahim, said: “This year’s session deals with the principles of excellence and their role in reducing waste, enhancing productivity and consolidating the elements of excellence, in addition to highlighting the need to select personalities, distinguished institutions at work, and the unique ways of affecting the genetic map on important personalities. And to reach self-improvement and the highest levels of excellence and quality of life.”

He added: “Among the honorees this year was Dr. Anisa Hassouna, a former member of the House of Representatives, who passed away a few days ago, but in our keenness to honor the value represented in her honorable person, the role she played in society, her honorable march and her great services in the field of health development. And all of her work is in the field of charitable work, as she is one of the personalities who have played a major role over many years in community work.”

Mersal Ibrahim concluded his speech by saying: “This year, we have chosen a large number of distinguished people in their various fields, and among the most prominent honorees in this session of the conference is His Excellency Ambassador Diab Al-Louh, Ambassador of the Palestine Tour in Cairo and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States.
