Over three days, six plenary sessions, five interactive multi-stakeholder dialogues and four high-level special events will highlight the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration. Other interest organized by Member States, the UN system and stakeholders will also be broadcast live through the UN webcast.
Five multi-stakeholder interactive dialogues will address the following topics: Water for Health, co-led by the Dominican Republic and the United Kingdom, Water for Sustainable Development: Co-led by China and the EU, and Climate, Water and Environment for Resilience: Co-led by Egypt and Japan, Water for Co-led: Senegal and Switzerland. The report pointed out that the United Nations Water Conference 2023 and its Action Plan are not an end, but a real start for the world to take water issues seriously across topics and sectors, and that the Water Agenda is just the beginning of the work.
