The radical new look of Suzuki’s bestselling car was prematurely revealed, and the controversial design is thrown behind your head.

The automaker is just starting to reveal it, but photos of convertibles and expedition-ready cars show it all. We can expect not only a new platform, but above all a new design that will not divide the audience into two camps.
At the end of this month, Škoda will present the improved Karoq. However, a few days ago, namely on November 25, a completely new SUV will debut for the European markets. It will be the third generation of the Suzuki S-cross that began its career in 2006 under the name SX4. The Japanese automaker originally expected to sell it only on the Old Continent. However, thanks to a very positive response from other countries, the S-Cross eventually reached China, India, Indonesia and the home of Suzuki.
The novelty will also be universal, captured during transportation. Since the car manufacturer did not even wrap it in a protective cloth, we know in advance what lies ahead. It is necessary to mention at the outset that we already have country changes compared to our predecessors. The third generation of S-Cross will grow in all directions to make the teams from Vitara even more remarkable. However, at the same time, it does not beat the larger SUV, a restyled Toyota RAV4 with a length of 4.6 meters.
In addition to the more generous proportions, the styling will also change, as the automaker certainly wants to let customers forget about the relatively controversial facelift from 2017, which gave the car somewhat baroque shapes. The front parts, which include a larger visor and narrow headlights, look appropriately aggressive, while the side profile of the novelty no longer resembles a hatchback on stilts, but rather a traditional SUV. Interconnected lights, which visually expand the car, and then move backwards. Thanks to the hinges of the trunk lid, it also looks predatory even from this angle.
Given these changes, the presence of the new Heartect platform, which the S-Cross will share with the new generation Suzuki Vitara, is not surprising. As with the current design, a 1.4-liter BoosterJet four-cylinder gasoline engine with a 48-volt circuit will likely be connected to this architecture. Customers can combine this machine with a six-speed manual as well as a six-speed automatic transmission. But whether it will continue that way is in the stars.
We can also speculate on the choice of the 4×2, 4×4 or the powertrain, which is currently 129 hp. However, it can be assumed that in the absence of other units, Suzuki will keep the above variants on display, while it is very likely that a few more tail buffers will be added to the engine. But we have already reached the area of speculation that we prefer to leave. After all, we’re only nine days away from the ceremonial debut, and thus also the most detailed press releases.
