Today, Monday, the Hurghada Prosecution ordered the release of two nurses accused by the Egyptian artist, Menna Shalaby, of medical negligence in the treatment of her mother, the retired dancer, Zizi Mustafa.

The decision was issued by the head of the Hurghada Public Prosecution, Counselor Mohamed Ghaleb, and decided to release the two nurses under the guarantee of their place of residence, according to the“Al-Ahram” portal Egyptian.

On Saturday, Menna Shalaby wrote a report in the second section of Hurghada, accusing two nurses of medical negligence in following up on her mother while she was cared for during her illness in El Gouna, Hurghada.

Menna Shalaby accused the two nurses in the report of using hot water on her mother’s wound instead of warm water, which caused her wound to deteriorate and led to suppuration.

For their part, the two nurses confirmed in their statements in the investigations of the Hurghada Public Prosecution that their role is limited to giving Menna Shalaby’s mother medicine and treatment at the specified times, as well as taking care of her and helping her to go to the bathroom and take a shower, according to“Al-Masry Al-Youm” newspaper.

They stressed that they had nothing to do with the deterioration of the medical condition of the Mu’tazila artist, Zizi Mustafa.
