The famous Italian photographer Paolo Roversi revealed, during an exclusive interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, that the favorite picture of Prince William and his children among the three pictures published for Kate Middleton on her 40th birthday is her picture in a white off-the-shoulder dress.
Paolo Roversi noted that the pictures were taken in November of last year 2021, in Kew Park in London.
Kensington Palace publishes pictures of Kate Middleton
Kensington Palace has released three new special photos to celebrate Kate Middleton’s 40th birthday.
The pictures deserve to be for the future queen, as Kate appeared in a black and white photo, in an elegant chiffon dress. She featured her diamond and pearl dangling earrings, which were owned by Princess Diana, as well as her iconic sapphire engagement ring, which also belonged to her late mother-in-law.
In the second photo, she appeared in a one-shoulder red satin dress with sexy sleeves and pockets. She wore diamond earrings from the Queen Elizabeth collection.
In the third picture, Kate appeared smiling in another white dress with her hair hanging over her shoulders.
The photos will go into the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery, of which Kate is a patron. Before Portrait Gallery reopens in 2023, it will be part of the Coming Home Project, a national initiative focused on sending photos of well-known individuals to sites with which they are closely associated. The project has enabled workers – from the National Portrait Gallery’s National Collection – to travel to towns and cities across the UK, providing communities with the opportunity to see locally famous works.
