The United Kingdom announced on Tuesday, October 11, 2021, at 4 am that Tunisia would be removed from 47 countries on the Red List of countries isolated by the spread of Covit-19.
Tunisia has been on the list since June 23, 2021.
The updated Red List, which covers the development of world conditions and the pace of epidemics, covers about 56 countries as of June 23, 2021.
Also, the British Ministry of Transport confirmed on Thursday evening that the red list of British isolated countries is limited to 7 countries: Colombia, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.
In order to facilitate the travel process to as many countries as possible
It said vaccinated immigrants from 37 countries would be allowed to come to Britain, so dozens of countries such as Argentina, Chile, Thailand and Mexico would be added to the “other parts of the world” list. It exempts vaccinated travelers and visitors to the UK from compulsory segregation at the hotel
The UK Healthcare Agency has pointed out that the British government is reducing the number of countries included in the red list as the risk of spreading the COV-19 virus is focused on significant countries.
As of October 6, 2021, the total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Tunisia had reached 3,973,932, with approximately 6,411,582 registered for the “IVAX” vaccine system.
