The Emirates Foundation for School Education has announced changes to working hours in government schools during the remainder of the holy month of Ramadan.
And she explained in her circular issued to schools today, that from Monday to Thursday, attendance at the school will be for students and administrative and educational staff, and on Friday, April 22 and 29, work will be remotely for students and administrative and educational staff.
The total number of weekly hours, for the administrative and educational staff, will be 25 hours for all episodes at a rate of five and a half hours per day from Monday to Thursday and three hours on Friday, distributed according to the following, from Monday to Thursday from 9 to 2:30 or from 8:00 to 1: 30 according to the approval of the line manager and on Fridays from 9:00 to 12:00 or from 8:00 to 11:00 according to the approval of the line manager.
She clarified in her circular that the number of five lessons has been reduced from the basic quorum for the weekly quota for activities materials to be converted to self-education, and the number of lessons for the first episode from Monday to Thursday is 6, while Friday is 3 lessons.
As for the second and third cycle, the number of classes from Monday to Thursday is 7 classes, while on Friday there are three classes, and the duration of the class is 35 minutes, with two breaks per day. Allocating students’ working hours according to the episodes.
