belbalady.net Google has launched the YouTube Music app for Android smartwatches running Wear OS 3, This is after it closed the Google Play Music app in August of last year.
The app provides watch users with access to all songs and playlists, as well as playback controls.
The app also offers support for downloading music and listening to it offline. Which can be especially useful for athletes who exercise outside and don’t want to carry their smartphone with them.
YouTube Music is available for watches running Wear OS 3. Until now, only Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic.

Add the YouTube Music app to the watch
Before downloading the app, you must be a YouTube Music Premium subscriber. which costs $9.99 per month in addition to owning one of the two previously mentioned Samsung watch models.
To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your smart watch.
- Click on the search icon and then type YouTube Music.
- Once the app appears in the search result, tap on the Install option and allow the app to download to your device.
- When the download is complete, sign in to your account in the app.

Download and listen to music offline
Before starting the process of downloading music for offline listening, you must connect the smartwatch to the charger regardless of the battery status. Then follow the steps below to start downloading songs and playlists.
- Open the YouTube Music app on your smartwatch.
- Select the song or playlist you want to download.
- Click on the download icon.
You can also choose to allow the app to perform the download process for you. With Smart Downloads enabled, your watch automatically downloads music based on your listening history. And you can customize the feature to download between 50 and 500 songs depending on your available storage.
