Almost all of Microsoft’s online services, with the possible exception of OneDrive, suffer outages and cannot be used or signed in.

According to the DownDetector server, where users reported problems, such as applications like Minecraft or Azure, MS Store encountered the problem.

The first problems occurred at about eight o’clock. Microsoft later responded and announced that the problem may be caused by a new, unspecified network setting. Then the treatment was arranged by returning the original settings.

“We continue to monitor recovery at the service level and some customers are reporting mitigation. We are also working to connect the service to other infrastructure to speed up the recovery process.” advertiser Microsoft later.

Microsoft isn’t the first company, and probably not the last, where new settings for Network Services have caused problems. For example, it caused a huge outage of Google services Maintenance error.
